Josh Pierce

Born in Battle Creek, Michigan in March of 1981 his grandfather always said he had a "knack for music". Able to keep a beat at the young age of 4, he became very interested in music. He started singing in the church children's choir and eventually joined the school band playing the trumpet.

Over the years his music continually progressed and began to flourish. At the age of 20, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Stationed at Camp Pendleton he served his nation with honor and distinction and kept his dream of someday sharing with the world his musical dream.

After being discharged he began to rodeo on the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association's Sierra Circuit in California. During the rides to the rodeo and even before his ride he continued to keep his pad and pencil close by. Josh's bull riding career was abruptly ended after a serious head injury in North Carolina in late 2003. After finding his way back to Arizona he decided that music was his true passion and his talent.

Now at the age of 25 and after playing in numerous bars throughout Phoenix, Tempe, Glendale, Goodyear, and Avondale he traveled to The Cavern recording studios to record his first single titled "Friends Before Lovers". The song was written by a close friend of Josh's and he believes strongly in the message it sends. Together with his friend Matt Farris he's played many shows in places he normally wouldn't have the opportunity to. His sound only gets better with time. His passion is his music and continues to drive him to push further into his career.

Josh enjoys spending time out hunting, fishing, karaoke, dancing, and just hanging out with some of his close friends. He's very proud of his children and the way that they live their lives.

Josh has always been an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society and other non profit organizations.

After years of work his music is starting to make it's way into the hearts and minds of his fans. Josh wishes to thank all of those people who have supported him on this long road in his music career. Those Special people include Anthony DeJesus, Chris Canella, Jason Johnston, His mom Fran Pierce, Matt Farris, Carl with SLAM Magazine, and many many more. Josh firmly believes that without those supporters and fans his music would have never been propelled to the level it is today. So stick around a while and get to know Josh and his music. Hopefully with a little luck, the help of his fans and his passion for music, his name will become a household name in Country Music and launch him into a new level in his career.
